So I feel a bit remiss, more days have passed than should between blog entries, but I have been busy knitting. Knitting you say...but there is no evidence on your project bars! That is because, well, I haven't updated them in some time. I will try and get to that soon! But amazingly enough (to me anyway), I have been spending a fair bit of time knitting and more importantly finishing some new projects.
What you ask has brought on this flurry of knitting? None other than the crazy idea that I might actually be able to write a book. Those of you who are now shakin' in your boots based on what you have seen here in the past, no worries -- I will get a professional editor! But a book on entrelac has been wandering through my mind for years and for the first time, pieces seem to be falling into place so I am making the effort. A cute little purse out of ribbon, a placemat out of cotton, a trivet in wool have all been completed in the past couple of weeks. And I am nearly done with a vest in
Bulky Sagacity which will be the basis for a new class offering and pattern in the Fall. As Yoda would say, "Yes, very busy I have been!"
Oh yea, the newest edition of the
Knitability News will be available this weekend. If you haven't seen them already, find out how to make the perfect summer accessory:
They are fast and fun!
